History of beer Cruzcampo
Cruzcampo it comes from the dream of the Osborne brothers, Tomás and Roberto: to make an ideal beer for the warm climate of the south. With this in mind, they moved to Seville, whose high quality water is similar in composition to that of the Czech river Pilsen, which gives its name to this type of beer. They established their brewery in the Nervión district, on land annexed to the Templete de la Cruz del Campo, which they later christened the beer we know today as Cruzcampo .
In 1904, the brewery of La Cruz del Campo gives with a unique yeast strain. This gave rise to the first beer Cruzcampo , with properties and essence that remain intact today.
Already in 1940, they began to break down borders and expand. During this decade, it Cruzcampo sowed great contributions in research and development for science, to the benefit of Spanish and European beer. Technological improvements were made such as rapid bottling. That helped it Cruzcampo grow a lot.
