History of Miller Beer
Miller beer has its origins in 1855. Frederick J. Miller , a German master brewer, established himself in Milwaukee (USA), with his first brewery (Plank Road Brewery).
Later, in 1969, it was already a well-known brand in the United States and thanks to this and in the hands of the multinational Philip Morris, the Miller Lite was launched on the market and became the lowest calorie beer in the country.
Miller Brewing was acquired in 2002 by SAB, three years before it was acquired by Bavaria, which, in turn, was bought for close to 7.5 billion dollars, from the Santo Domingo family.
